CONGRATS

My little brother from another mother, Nathan, informed me today that he and his wife are expecting their first baby. I am so excited for them. I know Nathan will do a great job raising up a future blacksmith, boy or girl. Love you brother, let us know if we can do ANYTHING. CONGRATS to you and Molly.

I had seen at one point someone was discussing a beginners workshop and was wondering if anyone ever set that up. I would be very interested in attending some sort of workshop to learn, first hand, from one of you veteran smiths. Even if its just getting together on a weekend and forging together would be greatly appreciated. please let me know if any of you have time to get together some weekend.See More

June 21 Meeting

Hey everybody, Sorry I di not make the last meeting but had a father son campout with our church. I am looking forward to the next one coming up. Just a reminder for people to bring their forges and some coal so we can get some hammering done. Russ asked me to do a Damascus demo for those who don't have power hammers. I am going to do a video this week and post on how to do billet prep. Both with a welder and without. Hope to see everyone there.MontySee More
